Isoprime Corporation is a full service computer software and consulting firm located in the western suburbs of Chicago.
Founded in 1998, we offer a variety of professional services related to the development and use of computer software. Our technology consulting services include project management, strategic planning, business requirements definition, software selection, systems implementation, and software effectiveness audits. We also work with our customers to design and build software to meet the specific needs of their organization. We have a wealth of expertise in developing complex software that can operation on a host of computer platforms including PC Networks and the Internet. We can also provide services to support, maintain and upgrade existing systems. In addition to custom software development and consulting services we offer several packaged software products for healthcare and educational institutions.

Ken Modaff
President and CEO
Ken Modaff is president and founder of Isoprime Corporation. He has over 25 years of experience in the business systems and computer technology industry with extensive business development and management expertise.
Prior to forming Isoprime Corporation, Mr. Modaff held a variety of senior management positions at Computer Associates International, Inc. His most recent role was as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Acacia Technologies Division based in Lisle, Illinois. Acacia Technologies, with over 500 employees operating across 21 countries, provided enterprise-wide client-server software to manufacturing and logistics businesses around the world. As General Manager, Mr. Modaff had global responsibility for development, marketing, sales and support of Acacia’s product lines.
In addition to his senior management experience, Mr. Modaff is skilled in a wide range of business applications. These include manufacturing enterprise resource planning systems, logistics and warehouse management, human resources, international financial systems, healthcare applications, and general office systems. He also has extensive experience with software development tools, database management systems, and hardware platforms ranging from desktop systems to IBM mainframes.
Mr. Modaff holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Illinois University.
He brings a unique blend of technical expertise, functional skills, business management experience and education to the leadership position at Isoprime.
Dr. Michael J. Fitzgerald

Dr. Fitzgerald is a neonatologist and is board certified in both Pediatrics and Neonatal/Perinatal Medicine. He is a co-founder of DuPage Neonatology Associates, a hospital-based intensive care private medical practice and is currently Medical Director of Neonatology at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, IL. DuPage Neonatology Associates has developed Level-Three Neonatal Intensive Care Units at several suburban Chicagoland hospitals and provides the highest level of care for critically-ill babies.
Dr. Fitzgerald’s background includes a bachelor’s degree from DePauw University and medical training at The University of Health Sciences Chicago Medical School and Chicago’s Cook County Hospital. He did a Pediatric Residency at Loyola Medical School and was honored as Chief Resident of pediatrics during his last year of residency at Loyola.
Dr. Fitzgerald remained at Loyola as a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics in the division of Neonatology for five years. During his time at Loyola, in addition to the practice of clinical neonatology, he did basic science and clinical research, presented nationally, and was published in the Journal of Pediatrics in the area of newborn sepsis and shock. His clinical accomplishments include having cared for the smallest and sixth smallest baby ever to survive in the world.
Dr. Fitzgerald provides Isoprime with an extensive background in Clinical and Research Intensive Care Medicine, Medical Business Practice Development and Management, medical computer software development and a history of success in the application of technology to the medical field.
Dr. Daniel P. Modaff

Dr. Modaff is an Associate Professor in the School of Communication Studies at Ohio University, where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in organizational communication. He received his BS and MA from Northern Illinois University, and his PhD in Organizational Communication and Language and Culture from The University of Texas at Austin. He brings to Isoprime his many years of experience and publication activity in the use of digital video technology as an instructional and research tool. Dr. Modaff is a published scholar in the fields of pedagogy, organizational communication, and language and social interaction. He has made nearly three dozen presentations at academic conferences, and has eight publications. His most recent is a textbook published in 2002, Organizational Communication: Foundations, Challenges, and Misunderstandings, the second edition of which has been contracted with the international publishing house AB/Longman.
Dr. Modaff has received teaching awards from The University of Texas at Austin and Ohio University. Ohio University awarded him the institution’s highest recognition for undergraduate teaching, the University Professor Award in 1997, then again in 2005. In 2004 he was honored with the Ohio University Outstanding Senior Faculty Member Award, and in 2005 he was selected as the Presidential Teacher Award winner, which is Ohio University's most prestigious award for excellence in teaching, scholarship, and mentoring.
